DRI-LOC®

VIBRA-SEAL®
  A dry-to-the-touch pre-applied film for threaded fasteners. It remains inert on the fastener until assembly of the threads releases a quick curing resin. The resin fills all the voids in the threads and cures to securely lock and seal the assembly. Pre-applied, water based sealants that when dried become a resilient, tight clinging, non-curing sealant for tapered or straight threads. The products provide excellent solvent and vibration resistance. The products thread filling ability and prevailing torque characteristics are effective for use on sealing applications, particularly where re-adjustments are required.

  • Dri-Loc® pre-applied adhesives turn ordinary bolts into self locking, self sealing fasteners, which resist loosening from vibration and impact better than any other type of fastener.
  • Dri-Loc® products meet established industry standards, as published by the Industrial Fasteners Institute; the IFI 125 & 525.
  • Bolts with Dri-Loc® threadlockers seal thru-holes immediately, at temperatures ranging from -65 F to +300 F. In fact, +400 F service is also available.
  • Dri-Loc® bolts are reusable and come in a variety of locking strengths to fit any job you have.
  • Vibra-Seal® pre-applied adhesives will positively seal National Pipe Thread (NPT) and straight thread fittings against the most commonly used fluids, at temperatures ranging from -65 F to +250 F.
  • NPT coated fittings can be reused up to 5 times without applying additional product.
  • Vibra-Seal® coated parts inhibit corrosion between mated threads, thereby providing easy joint disassembly, even after years of service.
  • Treated connections are highly resistant to vibrational loosening.
 
  • Fasteners coated with Dri-Loc® go on easily and give predictable torque-tension relationships.
  • Precoated parts have a shelf life of several years and require no special handling or storage.
  • Parts coated with Vibra-Seal® have excellent lubricity, which reduces the wrench torque required in drawing up connections.
